Forum for Experts on Social Protection

In partnership with the School of Education and Social Development, the Department of Social Sciences of the University of Namibia, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) initiated the Forum of Experts on Social Protection (FESP) in 2017. The Forum connects experts, specialists, academics/scholars, consultants, and policymakers on critical questions of Social Protection in Namibia. Over the years, the overwhelming interest grew from civil society and the general public, leading to the FESP events becoming public.

FESP promotes the fostering, expanding, and improving of Social Protection and disseminates information based on research and in-depth knowledge to sensitise on challenges in the existing and planned Social Protection Schemes through debates.
