Decent work

Since 2020, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, in partnership with its partner (TUCNA) and various stakeholders, has initiated programs to popularize the concept, advocate, and achieve decent work for all, especially for women and men within the formal and informal sector.  While the concept is slowly being understood and accepted in the Namibia employment sector, local and international stakeholders such as the National Planning Commission, Ministry of Industrialization and SME Development, Ministry of Labour Industrialization and Employment Creation, Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development, Social Security Commission, Food Agricultural Organization of the United Nations and the International Organization of Migration (IOM), has been working closing with us in domesticating this concept.
