On the premise that trade unions may not yet fully understand the issues surrounding green hydrogen, FES Namibia, in partnership with the Labour Resource and Research Institute (LaRRI), concluded a one-day workshop on Green Hydrogen, exploring the opportunities and challenges for Trade Unions in Namibia.
Attended by trade unionists from all three federations in Namibia, the workshop aimed to empower trade unions with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage in the green hydrogen discourse, ensuring that workers’ voices are heard in the transition to sustainable energy. Trade unions can play a pivotal role in shaping the policies that will govern the green hydrogen economy and advocate for fair employment opportunities for their members.
