Gender Justice

Our programme

For more than 40 years, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) has worked with partners to transform unjust social and economic contexts and to build conditions for democratic transformative change. Inextricably linked to gender justice are the political struggles for the emancipation of the working class and a free society that offers everyone an equal opportunity for economic, social, and cultural participation.

FES Namibia has facilitated public discussions, round tables and exchange platforms with many of its partners, including the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare, various Parliamentary Standing Committees, SWAPO Party Women’s Council and civil society organisations such as Regain Trust.
