All our positions for internships are currently filled until June 2022. Thank you for your understanding.
The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Namibia offers internships to applicants with a BA (or higher) degree in Social Sciences, Economics, International Law, African Studies and Development Studies. Applicants should be fluent in spoken and written English.
In our experience the duration of an internship of added value to yourself and FES should be no less than eight weeks.
We expect interns to assist our team in the following areas:
The FES Namibia is not in the position to offer any monetary compensation for travel expenses (e.g. flight ticket, visa fees). The responsibility to apply for a Namibian visa lies with the intern. The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung regrets that interns cannot be remunerated. All expenses, including travel, board and lodging, remain the responsibility of the applicant. FES does not accept responsibility for any claims resulting from accidents, damages and/ or losses incurred to interns for the duration of their internship. We are aware that these are not very attractive conditions, but we unfortunately have no authority to change the situation. We can, however, vouch for the quality of experience.
Applications should include:
Applications by Namibian citizens are welcome.
